On day 2 as we were arriving in Houston bus terminal,our bus got hit by a drunk driver,forcing me to miss my connecting bus to San Antonio.I had to wait 5 hours thru the night,then obviously was on a different bus from San Antonio the next day [from the one I was supposed to be on] and after 7 hours on that bus,it broke down about 30 miles from Big Springs,Texas. Time of breakdown was 19.45 on the freeway,and we were stranded there for 10 hours,until the relacement bus turned up at 6am. No heating,no lights,and the phone chargers on that bus didn't work from the start of the trip! So when we were "rescued" at 6am and taken to Big Springs,I was told to transfer straight away to another bus to LA. I had been travelling 3 days and nights already,so refused to board,and went to a motel for the night,before paying another 100 dollars for a 22 hour trip to Palm Srings,California as had missed my reason for going to LA by now. How do I attempt to get some compensation for this please???
